Wineries, Shops & Beaches

We flew over from Auckland to a coastal city called Napier for the weekend! Napier is a small city filled with beautiful wineries, boutique shops and Art Deco! The city suffered a massive 7.8 magnitude earthquake in the early 1930s and rebuilt itself in the styles of Stripped Classical, Spanish Mission and Art Deco! We spent the weekend walking the beach, shopping and tasting wines from two of New Zealand’s oldest wineries, Church Road Winery and The Mission. Tomorrow we leave for Wellington!
