Goodbye New Zealand, Hello Australia

Our last two days in Wellington have been amazing! I’m sad to leave this beautiful city. Wellington is known as the cultural capital of New Zealand and I can see why. Each museum is filled with Maori traditions and stories that share the tribe’s history and passion. I could have spent hours walking up and down the floors of Te Papa, there’s a reason we went back 3 times. We also enjoyed learning about the history of Wellington at the Museum of Wellington City & Sea. All in all the last four days have been memorable ones. We even saw a few U.S. Marines practicing for a ceremony that is happening today at Parliament House. We leave the beautiful country of New Zealand today and head back over to Australia for some much needed family time.
