Old Friends, New Adventures & An Opera House

A trip to Australia is not complete without seeing our lovely friends from Melbourne. We met Karen & Adrian many years ago on a trip through Italy and after running into each other all day we became instant family friends. Over the last 15+ years we have been visiting each other. They actually came to the US in November to spend a week with us in Oregon! We love them dearly and had the most wonderful week with them exploring Sydney.

We started off our week in Sydney with a day trip to the Norman Lindsay Gallery & Museum. We had the most lovely day learning about Norm, his life, talents & home of the Magic Pudding.

After we explored the gallery and museum we continued our drive up to the Blue Mountains and explored The Three Sisters. It was the perfect day to visit, the weather could not have been better.

 {Went down to the look out, got a little scared from the drop off, but held on to A for safety…wish we had a photo of that!}

The next few days we had in Sydney we explored the city from top to bottom. We went on a harbor tour, explored the Opera house, walked up and down the beautiful clean streets and of course shopped! Sydney is a beautiful city and I can’t wait to go back again.
