What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas…unless you blog about it when you get back home! This year I spent the 4th of July in Las Vegas with my roommate from college {Maria}, parents, sister, brother-in-law and niece. Other than the over 100˚ weather we had a great time.
This was my 4th trip to Vegas in the last two years and it’s one of my favorite places to visit. There are so many things to do from shows to clubbing. The food is unbelievable and the shopping is indescribable. If you can handle the heat the summer time is the best time to go – another great time is New Years. I kicked off 2010 Vegas style! Here’s a list of my favorite things about the city and of course some pictures.

If you’ve never been to a Cirque show this is a great one to start with! It was my first Cirque experience and my first Vegas show in the Summer of ’09.

Elvis and Cirque are a match made in heaven! I saw this show in February, sang along, danced and loved every minute.

The Colosseum – Caesars Palace
My mom, sister, Maria and I went to Celine this trip! We have been huge fans for years and this new show was incredible. It’s a must see!
Nightclub
PURE
Caesars Palace
PURE is my favorite nightclub in Vegas – the DJs are amazing and the rooftop patio has one of the best views of the Strip!
Shopping
The Forum Shops
More than 160 stores, three-levels, replicas of the Trevi and Triton Fountains, a changing sky and delicious food. This place is a shopaholic’s heaven!

Feel like spending the day in Venice, Italy? The canal shops will make you feel like you’re walking the streets of Italia. Stop by St. Mark’s Square; enjoy a show and the best gelato in Vegas!
